There is a Winter Storm Warning in place until 5PM today. Sunday looks to be bluebird.

6-15-2016 – 10:23 AM – Good morning from Mammoth Lakes, the window-cast shows a bit of smoke in the area at this time. Nothing major but you can smell the smoke and see a bit of haze in the area. PM 10 counts remain in the 20’s at this time.
This morning we have a current temperature of 44 at 8200 feet with a 41 up at the top of Mammoth Mountain with a 49 up in the Lakes Basin at Pokonobe Lodge.
The weather this week will be highlighted by a strong warming trend that will lead to well above normal temperatures by mid week. Highs in town will be in the low 70s today and into the upper 70s to near 80 by Thursday and Friday. Check out our weather page for the full details….
5-19-2016 – 6:44 AM – Good morning from Mammoth Lakes, the window-cast shows pt. cloudy skies at this time. For today we have a wind advisory, winds with be SW to W 20-35 MPH with gusts 45-65+ MPH today.
As of this post I have a 49 here at the cabin and we have a 33 up top and it’s 41 at the Main Lodge. Winds at this time are out of the SW to 65+ over the upper elevations with winds gusting to 15-30 MPH here in town.
This weekend we have a major cooling trend on the way with snow showers and thunder storms in the forecast into next week.
